U.S. Amateur field nearly set
The final field for the 2008 U.S. Amateur, which will be held August 18-24 at Pinehurst, is nearly complete with less than a week of
sectional qualifying left. Sectional qualifying, which began July 21st at Ft. Worth will wrap up August 5th at Crystalaire Country Club in Llano, California. To see who has already made the field, click here

The U.S. Amateur, the oldest USGA
championship, was first played in 1895 at
Newport Golf Club in Rhode Island. The
