British Sr. Open: No weekend play for Ams

AYRSHIRE, Scotland (July 25, 2008)--Irishman Arthur Pierse was the low amateur at the British Senior Open, held at Royal Troon Golf Club, finishing T-84 at 12-over-par (80-74-154).
None of the 14 amateurs in the field were able to make the cut, which was set at 10-over 152.
Nevada's Brady Exber was the low American amateur, finishing at 16-over 158.
John A. Fraser of Scotland had the best shot at making the cut after carding an even-par 72 on the first day, but stumbled to a second-day 85 to finish T-105.
