amateurgolf.com visits UST's Ft. Worth HQ
FT. WORTH, TX (June 18, 2008) -- When amateurgolf.com made a recent visit to UST's headquarters, we made sure to pack the video gear so we could give you a report.
As a longtime sponsor of amateurgolf.com, UST has had a strong presence at our events, and many of our members and website regulars are avid users of their shafts, including Proforce V2. With new AXIV Core Technology being rolled out, Mike Finn and Jamie Pipes of UST provide some insight on how it works, and why they look great too.
We also caught Rod Pampling just before his 2nd place finish in the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial Country Club. He was striping his driver on the range, and carried himself like someone who was going to play well that week, in his hometown no less. Rod may have been the victim of Phil Mickelson's miraculous birdie on 18, but he did gain a spot in the US Open, where he played well at Torrey Pines.
