Tyrrell Garth Invitational: Joyner wins by a stroke
BEAUMONT, Texas (May 4, 2008)--Owen Joyner took a one-stroke victory over Giles Kibbe in the Tyrrell Garth Invitational, held at the Beaumont Country Club.
Paul Moore took third at 219.

ABOUT THE Tyrrell Garth Invitational
Formerly a stroke play event, this is now a better-
ball of partners tournament that honors
one of the state's most accomplished amateur
golfers, and the pride of Beaumont. In each flight,
teams will play five nine-hole matches, one match
against each team in their respective flight. Three
nine-hole matches are played on day one, then two
more on day two followed by a Championship
Shootout to determine the overall winner.
