Mississippi (MGA) Sports Medicine Father-Son Tournament
JACKSON, MISS (June 20, 2005) -- Danny McDill and Brad McDill shot 56 in their final round of the MS Sports Medicine Father Son Championship to take the title with a three day total of 33 under par 66. The McDills played in the B Division with the course rotation of Castlewoods CC, Patrick Farms GC, and Canton CC. The runner up team of Edward Wall and David Wall shot 56 in their final round at Patrick Farms GC to finish at 32 under par 184. The Walls played in the A Division with the course rotation of Canton CC, Castlewoods CC, and Patrick Farms GC.

ABOUT THE Mississippi Father-Son/Daughter

The format of play is a two person scramble. Each team will play each course one day on a rotating basis, with divisions of approximately 60 teams established by the lowest handicap of the two players. After 36 holes, each division will be flighted into three flights of 12 teams.

At least one team member must be a permanent resident of Mississippi and meet the general eligibility requirements for MGA State Championships, which are as follows: must be a resident of the state of Mississippi for at least 60 days prior to the first round.

Team Relationship: Father/Son/Daugher; Grandfather/Grandson; Grandfather/Granddaughter; Father/Son/Daughter-in-law; Son/Daughter/Father- in-law.
