Antioch Master-Senior: Boyns/Thompson win by 3

ANTIOCH, Calif. (April 7, 2008)--Pat Cain, the head pro at the Lone Tree Golf Course, called the field at the 2008 Antioch Master-Senior Best Ball the strongest he's seen in his 26 years of running the tourney.

It was reigning NCGA Player of the Year Casey Boyns and Rob Thompson who opened the tournament with a 63 and finished with a 68 for a three-stroke victory.

Reigning NCGA Senior Player of the Year Mark Miller teamed with Terry Foreman to place second at 134, followed by Dave Goettsch and Rick Fisher (135).

Rounding out the top finishers were Jamie Looper / Jeff Burda (136), Mike Duncan / Ron Wiley (136) and Randy Haag / Gary Vanier (137).
