Semenza wins San Tan Amateur
QUEEN CREEK, Ariz. (April 23, 2011) -- Dustin Semenza fired a pair of 5-under 66s to win the two-day San Tan Amateur event at the Las Colinas Golf Club.
Semenza's overall score of 132 was one shot better than Stephen Motte and Kevin Cannon, who both finished tied for second. Motte's final-round 65 matched for the low round of the tournament.
Michael Williams, who finished tied for seventh place, and Dirk Maust also fired a 65 in Friday's first round.
Maust was fourth overall, followed by Rusty Brown and Adam Serrano, who shot 135 and 137, respectively.
