VISALIA, Calif. (Sept. 5, 2010) -- After Saturday's first round at Valley Oaks, it was fairly certain that the Visalia City Championship would turn in to a two horse race. Richard Chavez and Jeremy Moreno posted first rounds of 66 and 67, the only two players to break 70 at the par 72, 6471 yard layout which also hosts the Tulare County Four Ball in November.
On Sunday, Chavez and Moreno posted even par, giving Chavez the title.
John Austin won the First Flight (net) by four strokes at 137 while Kelsey Alcala claimed the Women's title.
