Oregon Women's Stroke Play- Sewell opens with a 69
CORVALIS, Oregon (Aug. 7, 2010) -- Lauren Sewell of Renton, Washington takes the lead by one stroke with a opening round 69 at the Oregon Women's Stroke Play. Sewell's round included 4 birdies and an eagle at the 18th. Among the eight subpar rounds at the par 72 Trysting Tree Golf Club are Monica Vaughn of Reedsport, Avery Sills and Gigi Stoll, both of Portland, and Kendra Little of Eugene who all shot 70. Laura Tennant of Portland, Taylor Babcock of Lake Oswego and Kate Hildahl of Tualatin all shot 71. Leading the senior division is Joan Edwards-Powell of Portland who opened with an even par 72.

members in
good standing of an
OGA Member Club. The Women’s Division
will be
limited to the first 96
qualified entrants who must be at least 13
years of age. The Senior Women’s Division
will
be limited to the first 48 qualified
entrants who are at least 50 years of age.
Entries will be accepted according to the
lowest USGA Handicap
