Steve Rose of New York, New York maintained the lead shooting a three over Par 74. Gusty winds and fast greens kept scores on the high side for day two of the tournament.
Rose has a three shot lead with two time defending Champion Rick Woulfe of Ft. Lauderdale and this year's Dade Country Senior Champion Steve Sim of Ft. Lauderdale. There are ten players within six shots of the leader Rose.
NOTABLES: Amateur tour regular Norm Swenson is at 153; Sports Psychologist Bob Rotella and former tour player Rick Ten Brock are tied at 154. James Achenbach of Golfweek is at 174.
In the Super Senior Division (age 65 and older) David King of Sterling, Virginia has a six shot lead over Jay Fitzgerald of Tequesta, Florida.
King shot a four over 75 for a commanding lead in the Super Senior Division.

ABOUT THE Dixie Senior & Mid-Master
The senior version of the Dixie Amateur
Championship added a Mid-Master division
starting in 2019. 54-hole
stroke play event with no cut. Mid-Master (ages 40-
54), Senior (ages 55-64)
and Super Senior
(65+) Divisions. The tournament has long drawn
some of the
country's top senior golfers to South Florida -- Doug
Hanzel (2013-2014, 2017); Brady Exber (2012); and
Rick
Woulfe (an amazing 7 titles, his latest in 2015) are
among the past
champions. All three rounds are
contested at
Eagle Trace Golf Club. You may request an
