ABOUT THE Colorado Mixed Stableford Team

One of two CWGA state championships for mixed teams of CWGA and CGA members. Stableford. Reckoning is made by points awarded in relation to a fixed score at each hole. The winner is the team who scores the highest number of points. Stableford scoring is as follows: 5=Double Eagle; 4=Eagle; 3=Birdie; 2=Par; 1=Bogey; 0=Double Bogey; -1=Triple Bogey or Higher. Partners' gross stableford points are combined to determine their gross team score. Each player's full Course Handicap is then added to their individual gross stableford score and combined to determine their net team score. Teams are pre-flighted according to combined Handicap Index (based on the June 3rd revision) with ten teams per flight. Handicap Limit: Handicap Index limit is 36.0 (women) and 32.0 (men). Players use full Course Handicaps up to a maximum of 30 for women and 26 for men regardless of Handicap Index. The field is limited to 60 teams divided into 2 Divisions: Open (30 teams) and Senior (30 teams). Each division is subdivided into three flights. A lottery shall be used if the number of teams entered exceeds the field limit.
