Palm Beach PubLinx: Germaine wins in playoff
Danny Germaine, of Palm Beach Gardens, birdied the first playoff hole to win the 20th Annual Publinks Championship at West Palm Beach Golf Course.
Germaine shot a final round 69 and a two day total of 142 and was tied after regulation with Scott Rossa 71-71--142, Paul Piccolo 68-74--142 and Tim Cox 72-70--142. In the playoff, Germaine sank a downhill six-footer for the victory.
It is the second win for Germaine this year. He won the Stroke Play Championship in June.
Scott Blasie won the 1st Flight with rounds of 80-72--152. Tied for second was Jose Tirado, Jr. 78-76--154, Michael Vied 80-74--154 and Chris Chaprnka 78-76--154.
