Keith Moles wins the Santa Barbara City by Six

SANTA BARBARA, CA (May 28, 2017) - UC Santa Barbara sophomore to be Keith Moles handled the field and the Santa Barbara Golf Club to win the Santa Barbara Championship by a comfortable six-strokes.

Moles, with a pair of top-10 finishes in AmateurGolf.com California Rankings events last year, finished the 54-hole event with a 202 tally well clear of runner-up Collin Waring (208).

Third place was shared by Ethan Ashbrook (210) and Jonathan Collins (210) while Brandon Gama (211) and Jake Williams (211) tied for fifth.

Other winners included Danny Carroll (Palmer Flight), Derrick Ford (Hogan Flight), J.R. Tricase (Nicklaus Flight) and John Dwyer (Trevino Flight).

ABOUT THE Santa Barbara City

The tournament, held during Memorial Day Weekend, is a 54-hole individual stroke play championship by flights, maximum handicap 15.6 The field is cut after 36 holes. Entry forms available in pro shop and online at course website. Event fills well in advance, so get entry in early.
