Antigua MV3: Two of three flights end in playoff
PHOENIX, Ariz. (May 4, 2007)-- Both the legends and senior divisions at the Antigua MV3 Invitational at Moon Valley Country Club went to a playoff.
The legends team of Marv White, Jack Blair and Fred Boice topped Bob Mandeville, Herb Weber and Garron Hale while, in the seniors, Rusty Brown, Mills Brown and Mike Butler defeated Steve Dallas, Ed Smith and Bob Munoz.
The open flight saw Larry Montplaisir, James Sosinski and Rob Mangini defeat Tim Duffey, Bryan Hoops and Jeremy Defalco by two strokes.
The unique format has three-man teams starting out in scramble format, then switching to best two-of-three balls.
