Palmer Cup: Birdie 4 ends three-team playoff
HORSHAM, Pa. (April 21, 2007)-- A three-way playoff between Roc Irey and John Robinson, Allan Small and Jamie Slonis, and Daniel Burton Kenneth Phillips came to an end when Robinson rolled home a birdie putt on the 557-yard par-5.
The tournament, held at Commonwealth National Golf Club, is dedicated to Arnold Palmer's amateur career and uses a combined score/best ball format.

ABOUT THE Palmer Cup
The annual Ryder Cup-style competition features
top collegiate players from the United States
against their counterparts from Europe.
Each team will now be comprised of 10 players.
The event will continue to feature 24 matches
with every player required to compete twice.
Players must participate in either the four-ball or
foursomes matches and in one of the two rounds
of singles matches.
