(April 3, 2017) -- Spring is freshly upon us and that means the Azalea Invitational has unofficially kicked off the start of Majors of Amateur Golf season. This year the title went to Georgia Tech junior Chris Petefish who won in dramatic fashion.

There aren't many teams in the country playing better than No. 5 Florida. Against a talented field over the weekend the Gators won for the fifth time this season at the Mason Rudolph Championship.

At the 3M Augusta Invitational UCF won their second consecutive tournament while Illinois star Dylan Meyer was impressive in his medalist performance.

Host Stanford finally broke into the win column by winning The Goodwin. A new star was born at Stanford Golf Course as well with BYU freshman Rhett Rasmussen claiming his first medalist title.

Rain limited the Aggie Invitational to 36-holes but winner LSU will take the victory.

Behind freshman Kristen Gillman Alabama comfortably won the Bryan National Collegiate.

On Friday the latest Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Poll was released and there is a new No. 1.

At the ANA Inspiration Lucy Li was the lone amateur to make the cut and she finished strong with a final round even-par 72.

As is tradition the 2017 Drive, Chip and Putt Championship was held the Sunday before the Masters. Click here to find out the winners from each division.

Playing at Spain's Real Club de Golf Sotogrande Jack Davidson won the Euro National Cup.
