Best of the Weekend: BYU wins for Third Time in Fall and more

(October 31, 2016) -- BYU capped off an impressive fall season with their win of the season at the Pacific Invitational.

In the women's rank South Carolina registered their first win of the year at The Landfall Tradition in a scorecard playoff victory over Wake Forest.

History was made this weekend in New Zealand as Louis Dobbelaar and Rose Zheng became the youngest winners in New Zealand Men's and Women's Amateur history.

One of the bigger college events of the fall season is set to begin on Monday. Before you tune into Golf Channel here are some of the things you need to know about the East Lake Cup.

-At the Texas Shootout the South Team took back the title
-The Las Vegas Senior was captured once again by Gary Carpendale and in the Las Vegas Amateur it was Just Kim grabbing the title
-Some team titles were handed out over the weekend as Cartersville Country Club won in Georgia and Royals Oaks Country Club took home the title in Oregon
