POMPANO BEACH, Florida (January 5, 2007) --Vicky Hurst of Melbourne, Florida survived strong winds to shoot an even Par 71 good enough to win the Women’s Division by one stroke over Mayute Tomimbang of Kissimmee, Florida. Hurst shot three rounds of golf at even par and had a hole-in-one which turned out to be a deciding factor in her victory over Tomimbang. Tomimbang nailed a 25 foot putt for birdie on the 72nd hole but finished one shot back. Eleven year old Alexis Thompson of Coral Springs, Florida and Alina Lee of Athens, Georgia finished tied for third place.
