Minnesota Team Championship won in runaway fashion
NISSWA, MN (September 7, 2016) -- The team of Shane Eastman, Bradley Harrington, Matt Lingle and Chad Moon carded a final-round 23-under par 121 at the Pines at Grand View Lodge Wednesday to win the 24th Minnesota Golf Association Net Team Championship.

During Tuesday’s opening round at the Preserve Golf Club, the foursome fired a 14-under par 130 and trailed the team of Troy Faber, Steve Jorgenson, Mike Bruesewitz and Bob Schmidt by two shots following the first round.

Eastman, Harrington, Lingle and Moon would cruise on the final day to earn a 13-shot victory at 37-under par 251, their first win at the event.

Wednesday’s final round was highlighted by Jack Blesener’s ace at the par-3 seventh hole of the Lakes Course from 160 yards with a 6-iron.

ABOUT THE Minnesota Net Team

The MGA Team Championship includes four-person teams which are divided into two 2-person squads. The format is 36 holes with the low score of each squad on each hole combined.
