San Clemente City: Repeat Performance for Adams
SAN CLEMENTE, California (Oct 22, 2006) -- John Adams of San Clemente won his second consecutive San Clemente City Amateur on Sunday in convincing fashion.
Adams shot 65-67 at San Clemente Municipal Golf Course to finish 12-under par, while Austin Graham, Matt Gahn and Brian DiGuiseppi tied for second at 8-under.
Gahn had a tournament-low 64 in the final round.

ABOUT THE San Clemente City
36-hole scratch tournament with a field of 160 of the
best amateur golfers in Southern
California. There will be 2 divisions, regular and
senior (55 and older). Cut after Saturday
to low 60 for regular and 20 for senior. Entry fee
includes golf, food, drink and tee prize
for those who make the cut. Past winners include
Mark
O'Meara, Kevin Na and Paul McGinley.
