John Wright captures I-80 Amateur
NEW LENOX, IL (May 15, 2016) - John Wright captured the I-80 Amateur on Sunday in a playoff victory over Brian Vandemotter. Wright put together rounds of 71-72 to post 143 at The Sanctuary Golf Course. Vandemotter tallied rounds of 73-70 to match Wright and earn his way into the playoff.
Wright has had a good history at the I-80 Amateur finishing tied for sixth in 2014.
Ricky Costello and Andy Roderique tied for third one-stroke out of the playoff while A.J. Balulis and Glenn Przybylski shared fifth another shot further back.

36-hole stroke play event. The Top 40 will be paid

in gift certificates based upon field of 100
contestants.
