MASON, OH (May 9, 2016) - The brother combination of Daniel and Matthew Wetterich fired a bogey-free first round 9-under 63 and lead the 14th Annual Metropolitan Four Ball Championship. They will carry a one-stroke lead into tomorrow's final round at the Heritage Club.

On the front nine the duo got off to a bit of a slow start going out in 2-under 34. The back nine is when things really started to heat up for the brothers. Beginning with a birdie on No. 10 the Wetterich's shot an impressive 7-under 29 coming in. From holes 13-17 they did most of their damage going 6-under during the five hole stretch. The run included an eagle on the par-5 14th.

Mark Daniel and Roy Adair will begin the second round 8-under and one behind in second place while four teams are tied for third only two back at 7-under.

It is shaping up to be an exciting, tightly contested second round at the Heritage Club.
