USGA Senior Amateur: 5 of 10 Florida players make it to match play
Newburgh, Ind. (September 17, 2006) - David Boesel of Orlando held it steady to finish T5 in match qualifying at the USGA Senior Amateur at Victoria National GC in Newburgh, Indiana. Boesel leads a strong contingent of Florida golfers into match play which begins tomorrow. The final is Thursday, September 21st.
5 out of 10 Florida players made it into match play. Boesel is joined by Michael Walters of Tampa, Rick Woulfe of Ft Lauderale, Gary Verble of Ponte Vedra and Brian Sachs of Gainesville.
Ronnie Tumlin of St Augustine, last week's winner at the Sunnehanna Senior Invitational, missed by one shot.

who are 55 or older on or before the day the
