The impending weekend weather in the Myrtle Beach area has forced the South Carolina Golf Association to postpone the Tournament of Champions.

"...we have decided to reschedule the 20th annual Tournament of Champions for February 13 & 14. We feel this decision is the best for the safety of the many players traveling from all parts of our State," read a statement from the SCGA.

Scheduled to be played at The Traditions Club in Pawley's Island, The Tournament of Champions was created to honor the Champions of the SCGA Member Club events and the SCGA One Day Tournaments throughout the previous year.

ABOUT THE South Carolina Tournament of Champions

With the first event held in January of 1997, The Tournament of Champions was created to honor the Champions of the SCGA Member Club events and the SCGA One Day Tournaments throughout the year prior.

Participants compete against one another in flights based on how they qualified.
