Manning, Wong win South Carolina Forty Plus finale
OKATIE, S.C. -- After a full night of rain on an already saturated golf course, Jamie Manning and Jeff Wong didn’t let soggy conditions affect their play as they took home the title in the South Carolina Forty Plus Series team event at Callawassie Island.

The local team combined for a final round 66 and a two day total of 135 to edge out Dean Nance and Doug Ramey by one shot.

In the Net Division, there was a three way tie for first with teams finishing at nine under par 135.

In the Senior Division, Tim Teaster and Holley Wallace took top honors with a final score of 142 and a two-shot victory. John Evans and Joe Roller finished with a net score of 130 to win by two.

ABOUT THE South Carolina Forty-Plus Finale

Open to male members of the SCGA who are over the age of 40. Field will be limited to 50 teams – 36 in the Championship Division (ages 40-54) & 14 in the Senior Division. 36-hole four ball stroke play will decide the low championship and net winners.
