K.C. Fox ahead early at Ralph Bogart Tournament
K.C. Fox
FORT MYERS, Fla. — K.C. Fox posted 72 on day one of the Ralph Bogart Tournament at Crown Colony Golf & Country Club to grab a one-stroke lead. With defending champion Rick Woulfe, who just won the Dixie Senior, not in this year's field, competitors are looking for a big win in on Florida's gulf coast.
Fox, who finished two back of Woulfe last weekend at the Dixie Senior in third place, paces the field while a pair of Jims, Jim Rollefson and Jim Stames, share second place with 73s.
Part of a jam-packed leaderboard are ten players two strokes back at 74, including Peter Van Ingen, Ron Carter, and Murphy Mitchell. Another seven players are just three back at 75.
This 54-hole event concludes Monday.
