San Joaquin 4 Ball Match Play: Landon Polterock & TJ Masters win title
Champions Landon Polterock & TJ Masters
FRESNO, Calif. (July 26, 2015) -- Four-Ball match play is one of the most fun formats in golf, and it's a shame there isn't more of it.
What makes for so much drama on TV during the Ryder Cup is often played at the club level, but not much higher -- most golf association four-balls like the NCGA being contested medal play due to time considerations.
Over the weekend in Fresno, 16 qualifying contestants (8 two-man teams) battled it out for the San Joaquin Valley Four-Ball. In the end, Landon Polterock & TJ Masters were able to defeat veterans Mike Stieler and Danny Paniccia, 2-and-1.
