CARMICHAEL, Calif. — The 51st Sacramento County Men's Championship concluded this past weekend at Ancil Hoffman Golf Course in Carmichael, Calif.

The William Bell-designed course proved to be a tough test of golf as small greens, tree-lined fairways, and difficult pin locations yielded only three under-par rounds in total.

After opening with 71 and a one-shot lead, Lee Gearhart did just enough on Sunday to take the championship. His final round 73 gave the Chico State senior from Roseville, Calif. a one-shot victory over David Laskin of Elk Grove.

Three players tied for third including Conner Estrada, Jeffery Yamaguchi, and Jesse Bratz, who shot a tournament-low 68 on Sunday.
