Danny Davis wins Wyoming Match Play

Easton Paxton entered the final day of the Championship with an extra day's rest after being the only one to receive a first-round bye. Danny Davis, by contrast, went to win both of his first matches in extra holes.
It seems 20 holes is Davis's sweet spot, because that's what it took him to earn victories in the round of 32 over PJ Thomas, as well as the round of 16 over Jack Mavrakis.
In todays final, Davis went 2-up on two different occasions, while it was Easton who had a 1-up lead after 16 holes of play. Davis brought it back to all square, before winning it on the second extra hole.
