MADISON, Miss. — A year after finishing in second place due to a poor final round, Josh Lampley got redemption at Reunion Golf Club. He won the 2015 Mississippi Mid-Amateur Championship on Sunday, shooting 66 in the final round to capture the title by six shots over Eddie Brescher.
In 2014, Lampley, of Gulfport, Miss., shot 75 in the final round after holding the 36-hole lead. He lost to then two-time champion Ben Snow. Snow tied for 12th this time around, shooting 78 in the final round.
