JUPITER, Fla. — Two teams tied for first in the third annual Palm Beach “Pricey” Par 3 Shootout staged by the Palm Beach County Golf Association Friday afternoon at Jupiter Dunes Golf Club. Even at five-under par 49, four-ball stroke play, were Derek Fathauer of Jensen Beach and John Powers of Delray Beach with Robbie Dew of Palm Beach Gardens and Lenny Loyd of Port St. Lucie. All four have won PBCGA titles in the past.

It is the third straight year that teams have tied at the top, the first time co-champions were declared.

Fathauer, a regular on the PGA Tour and a former PBCGA junior champion, had four birdies, Powers two and both birdied the 10th hole. Dew made six birdies and he and Loyd made one team bogey.

World Golf Hall of Famer Nick Price of Jupiter Island and his son Greg tied for third at 50 among the 23 twosomes in the starting lineup.
