Tommy Armour III wins playoff over Lee Janzen at Callaway Pebble Beach Invitational

PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. (Nov. 23, 2014) — Tommy Armour III fired 66-67 over the weekend at the Callaway Pebble Beach Invitational, forcing his way into a playoff with Lee Janzen and winning on the first playoff hole.

Armour III shot his 66 on Saturday at Del Monte, and then returned to Pebble Beach, where he shot 69 on Friday, and posted 67 to join Janzen at 274. Armour and Janzen were four shots clear of the third place finisher Kevin Sutherland.

The unique event hosts players from multiple different professional tours, including the PGA TOUR, Champions Tour, Web.com Tour, and LPGA Tour.

The top three finishers, Armour III, Janzen, and Sutherland, all represented the Champions Tour. The top finishing PGA TOUR player was Tommy Gainey at 279 while the top Web.com golfer was Todd Fischer at 282.
