David Jasper defends title at Kentucky Mid-Amateur
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Oct. 7, 2014) — The Kentucky Mid-Amateur Championship final round was conducted at Audubon Country Club on October 7, 2014. One group was able to finish in dry conditions, before bands of rain moved in to affect the players.

Despite breezy conditions, the damper ground made for some fantastic scores.

David Jasper of Prospect used a sizzling short game to post a come-from-behind victory and successfully defend his title in the Mid-Amateur division.

He shot matching rounds of 70 to finish at four-under-par 140.

Joe Deraney of Lexington finished as Runner-Up with a total of two-under-par 142. Josh Rhodes of Paducah finished an additional shot back with a one-under-par 143 after an even par final round. Aaron Yarmuth of Louisville also fired a final round 70 to finish tied for fourth with Kyle Leach of Louisville.

Andy Roberts of Owensboro shot a one-under-par 71 to finish T-6 with Nick Johnston of Louisville. Johnston shot an even par final round.
