Will Hickey leads Minnesota Mid-Amateur
BUFFALO, Minn. (Sept. 24, 2014) -- Will Hickey came out firing on Wednesday, posting a 68 on top of his first round 70 to take the 36-hole lead at the Minnesota Mid-Amateur.
Hickey had quite a round at the Chaska Town Course. He birdied the second hole, made a bogey on the 154-yard par-3 6th, then eagled the ninth to turn at 2-under. Undeterred by a couple of bogeys at the 12th and 13th, Hickey went forward and birdied four of the last five holes, including a closing birdie at the par-5 18th.
Hickey played the par 5 holes in 4-under par today.
Trailing him are Jesse Larson at 140 (71-69) and Adam Wynia at 142 (70-72). Three more players at 1-under 143 include first round leader Phil Ebner.

except participants must be 30 years or
