Mueller takes lead at New York Senior Amateur
CLAYVILLE, N.Y. (Sept. 17, 2014) — After trailing the opening-round leaders by three shots at the New York Senior Amateur, Tom Mueller shot two-under par 70 in the second round to move into the lead by two shots.

First-round co-leaders Bill Paulsen and Kevin Webb, who opened the tournament with two-over par 74's, both fell back after the second round. Paulsen shot 75 and is tied for second place while Webb shot 79 and is tied for ninth.

Mueller's round included three birdies and one bogey. Paulsen and Randy Young are two back of Mueller at five-over par through 36 holes.

ABOUT THE New York Senior Amateur

Entries will be limited to male amateur golfers who enjoy membership privileges at Clubs belonging to the New York State Golf Association, or are NYSGA Associate Members. Entrants must have attained their 55th birthday. Super Senior entrants must have attained their 65th birthday. The field will be comprised of the 164 lowest handicap indices entered as of the entry deadline. If there are ties for the 164th spot, the date entries were received will determine which entries are included.
