MIRA LOMA, Calif. (August 31, 2014) — Soon-to-be University of Oregon freshman Aaron Wise has fired rounds of 70 and 69 to take a two-shot lead into the final round at the Inland Empire Amateur Championship.

Playing Goose Creek Golf Club on Sunday, Wise's 69 jumped him from two back to two ahead as three first-round leaders dropped back. Wise, from Lake Elsinore, Calif., shot 31 on the front nine with five birdies but shot 38 on the back.

Tied for second place are Agostino Milazzo and Cody Hall at 141.

Hall won this year's Los Angeles County Match Play while Milazzo, from Riverside, is a sophomore at Long Beach State.
