THE WOODLANDS, Tex. (July 22, 2014) -- Sean Crocker and Sam Horsfield both finished tied atop the leaderboard after two rounds of stroke-play qualifying at the 2014 U.S. Junior Amateur and share medalist honors.

The two talented juniors will be the top two seeds when match play begins Wednesday on the Nicklaus Course at The Club at Carlton Woods.

Horsfield carded two rounds in the 60s, shooting 68-69, while Crocker, from Zimbabwe, shot 71-66 to tie for top honors.

Horsfield is hoping to make another run this year. Last year, the University of Florida commit, went all the way to the quarterfinals and has since been on a major streak of success.

First-round leader Riley Davis of Mississippi tied for third place alongside U.S. Open participant Will Grimmer and Germany's Dominic Foos.
