Oklahoma State Amateur: Semifinals set
OWASSO, Okla. (July 22, 2014) -- Casey Fernandez, Preston Crawford, Eric Kline and Brandon Jelley all remain in the hunt at the 2014 Oklahoma State Amateur Championship at The Patriot Golf Club.
Each golfer won twice Tuesday to get past the Rounds of 16 and 8 and will square off for the right to play in Wednesday afternoon's championship match.
Fernandez and Crawford will square off in the first match. Fernandes reached the semifinals as teh bracket's No. 8 seed and has rolled to this point in the tournament having not played past the 17th hole in any of his matches.
Crawford, the 12th seed, hails from Tulsa and has proved he can win in a rout and a tight match so far this event.
Kline will do battle with Jelley in the other semifinal. Kline is the No. 42 seed while Jelley moved to the semifinal round as the No. 14 seed.
