Nevada Amateur: Wright takes one-stroke lead into final round

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (July 15, 2014) -- Jordan Wright continued his strong play at the Nevada State Amateur on Tuesday at TPC Las Vegas.

Wright fired a one-under 70, and leads Owen Rosebeck by a stroke. Wright's card consisted of five birdies and four bogeys.

The field is close behind, however. Rosebeck posted his second consecutive 69, while Brandon Bauman is in third at three-under 139 after shooting the lowest round on Tuesday, a 68.

Seven-time Northern Nevada Golf Association Player of the Year Brady Exber is tied for fifth, six strokes back of Wright.

ABOUT THE Nevada State Amateur

54-hole stroke play competition with no cut. An 18- hole qualifier is required for those who do not meet exemption criteria. The field size is split between SNGA and NNGA member players.
