Middle Atlantic Junior Boys & Girls Amateur Championship
FAIRFAX, VA (June 28, 2006) -- Due to more than ten inches of rain for three days through Tuesday evening, the 2006 Middle Atlantic Junior Boys & Girls Championships scheduled for Thursday and Friday, June 29 and 30 at the Country Club of Fairfax have been POSTPONED until Thursday and Friday, July 27 and 28. Due to the emerging conflict with the Maryland Junior Girls Championship at Argyle Country Club on Thursday, July 27th, the MAGA Girls Championship will be conducted Friday, July 28th with the girls taking the first starting times beginning at 8:00 AM. Then the low 18 scorers and ties from the first day Boys Junior play will play their second round beginning at approximately 8:30 AM on Friday.
Players are asked to indicate their intentions as soon as possible to Randy Reed via the "CONTACT US" icon on the top right corner of the HOME PAGE. This is the strongly preferred method of communication. However, if necessary, players may also communicate their intentions via 301-869-6020. Those who cannot play will have their checks returned. Those who are able to play should advise accordingly and the field will be re-paired with the Groupings and Starting Times posted no later than Thursday, July 20th. A limited number of new entries will be accepted. Players are reminded that practice rounds are not available. The Executive Committee of the Middle Atlantic Golf Association thanks the Country Club of Fairfax for its gracious willingness to reschedule this set of championships.
