Chicago District Amateur: Fahel tops Johnson for title
CLARENDON HILLS, Ill. (June 26, 2014) -- Jordan Fahel took down Blake Johnson in the finals of the Chicago District Golf Association Amateur Championship.

Fahel won 2&1 at Hinsdale Golf Club on Thursday. Fahel is a member of the Illinois State golf team.

Thursday's victory was the first time Fahel went less than 18 holes in a match, winning 18, 21, and 22 hole matches on his way to the title match.

ABOUT THE Chicago District Amateur

Open to active CDGA members with an index 5.4 or below who have advanced through qualifying or meet exemption criteria. Format is 36-hole stroke play qualifying to determine the low 16 advancing to match play.
