Kevin Streelman leads winning week for Titleist

At the PGA Tour’s Travelers Championship, Pro V1x loyalist Kevin Streelman birdied his final seven holes to shoot a final-round 64 and claim his second victory on the PGA Tour. Streelman’s closing stretch is a new PGA Tour record for consecutive birdies to win a PGA Tour event, surpassing the previous mark of six straight established at the 1956 St. Paul Open.

Pro V1x loyalist Miko Ilonen claimed a wire-to-wire victory at the European Tour’s Irish Open. Ilonen opened the tournament with a seven-under par 64 and never relinquished the lead en-route to a 13-under-par 271 total.

On the Champions Tour, Pro V1 loyalist Tom Lehman holed a 12-foot-birdie putt on the final hole of regulation to claim a one-stroke victory at the Encompass Championship. Lehman finished with a 15-under-par 201 total to claim his eighth-career Champions Tour victory.

Rounding out the weekend success, Pro V1 x loyalist Joel Dahmen shot a final-round 69 at the Syncrude Boreal Open on the PGA Tour Canada to card a 22-under-par 266 total to secure his second victory of the season.

With four more wins this week, Titleist’s year-to-date victory count advances to 81. That's more than four times the nearest competitor with 19 and more than all competitors combined.In total, 11,725 players have teed up Titleist golf balls in competition on the 2014 worldwide professional tours, more than six times the nearest competitor with 1,919 and more than all competitors combined.
