LOUISVILLE, Ky. (June 23, 2014) - Louisville's Rick Cain fired a 2-under 70 despite windy and warm conditions and led all qualifiers at the 2014 Kentucky Senior Match Play at Wildwood Country Club.
For his efforts, Cain will be the No. 2 seed in the 16-man match play portion of the event.
Defending champion Steve Rogers of Bowling Green will be the top seed when play begins Tuesday at 9 a.m. local time.
To round out the bracket, six players competed in a sudden-death playoff for the final three spots. Steve Houchen of Falmouth and Jerry Edwards of Louisville parred the first hole to secure their place while Johnny Belcher secured the final spot with par on the second hole.
