Long Beach Match Play: Jensma rolls past Guillen for title
LONG BEACH, Calif. (June 14, 2014) -- Mark Jensma completed a masterful run at the 2014 Long Beach Match Play Championship with a dominant victory over defending champion Jordan Guillen Sunday at Recreation Park.
Jensma, who plays at Cal State Fullerton, won 7 and 6 over the No. 1 seed in Sunday's 36-hole championship match.
Jensma knocked off Kyle De Silva in the Saturday morning quarterfinals before defeating Jin Ho Chung 4 and 3 in the semifinals on Saturday to reach Sunday's finale.
Guillen defeated Martin Manalo in the quarterfinals and knocked off Bhuvan Potluri in the semifinals to move on.
