Women's Southern: Panos, Liu reach final

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (June 6, 2014) -- Former Oklahoma State star Jayde Panos and rising junior Mika Liu have advanced to Friday's championship match at the 2014 Women's Southern Golf Association Championship at Gaillardia Golf & Country Club.
Panos knocked off 2008 champion Lucy Nunn in the quarterfinals and beat Baylor's Maggie Beth Byers in Thursday's semifinals.
On the other side of the bracket, Liu defeated her sister Marika, who plays college golf at Yale by a 5-and-4 score in the semifinals. Mika, 15 and playing out of the IMG Academy, also defeated Kayli Quinton of Arkansas in the quarterfinals.
Quinton, along with Razorbacks teammate Summar Roachell took home the event's team championship title.
