EUGENE, Ore. (May 16, 2014) -- Patrick Rodgers shot 67 to put himself firmly in the lead in the individual race. His efforts, along with those of teammate Cameron Wilson, made sure Stanford stayed in a similar position.

The Cardinal will enter the third and final round of the NCAA Men's Golf West Regional with a nine-shot lead over Oklahoma.

Rodgers, the No. 1 player in the World Amateur Golf Rankings, followed his first-round 66 with a 67 and leads the individual race by six shots. Stanford also received terrific effort from Wilson (71-68), who's now tied for second.

The Sooners, in solo second in the team race, received 72s from Michael Gellerman, Beau Titsworth and Max McGreevy and a 71 from Charlie Maxon on Day 2.

Oregon is third thanks to great second rounds from Zach Foucshee (68) and Brandon McIver (69).
