Virginia Four-Ball: Best of friends take lead
BRISTOL, Virg. (May 9, 2014) -- Best friends and teammates Brandon LaCroix and Matt Chandler joined to fire a 10-under 61 in the first round of the 2014 Viriginia State Four-Ball at The Virginian Golf Club.
The red-hot start puts the duo atop the leaderboard entering Round 2 with a three-shot advantage over Scott Shingler and Justin Young and Lee Fisher and Barry Wirt Jr.
Vincent Nadeau and Brad Ferguson are fourth at 6-under.
On the day, a total of 21 rounds were carded in the 60s with 25 out of 48 teams breaking par.
