CALLAWASSIE, S.C. (April 29, 2014) -- When it was all said and done, Ryan McCormick put himself and his team on top.

McCormick shot a final-round 69 to close a masterful 54 holes, winning the 2014 Big East Men's Golf Championship Individual title. His efforts put him eight shots ahead of the next individual and willed the Storm to a first-place finish in the team race.

At Callawassie Golf Club, McCormick finished eight shots clear of co-runners up Gregory Podufal (82-67-70) and Xavier's Yuki Kato (77-70-72).

Marquette took second in the team race, getting a solid performance from Brandon Cloete, who tied for fourth place individually after shooting 71-76-74.

DePaul was third in the team competition.
