CARTERSVILLE, Ga. (April 27, 2014) -- Cres Dodd and Greg Johnson rallied to win the 2014 Georgia Four Ball at Cartersville Country Club.

The duo shot a final-round 64 to win by three shots over Michael Morris and Tim Arnoult, Jr., closing a solid week that also included rounds of 65-67 over the event's first two days.

Both Dodd and Johnson used local knowledge to prevail as they're members of the host club. They tied for fifth at last year's Four Ball.

Four teams tied for third at 16-under-par 200: Chad Branton of Cartersville and Justin Johnson of Canton (62-71-67); Alex Jones of Woodstock and Chad Wilson of Calhoun (66-65-69); Bill Faith of Eatonton and Poli Medrano of Greensboro (67-64-69); and Chase Jones and Tyler Mitchell, both of Chatsworth (66-63-71). Jason Fober and Cason Hammock, both of Columbus and 2011 Four-Ball champions, finished seventh at 15-under-par 201 (72-70-69). Cameron Hooper of Atlanta and David Noll, Jr., of Dalton (67-68-67), and Robert Garner of Newnan and Jason Kimpel of Sharpsburg (68-67-67), tied for eighth at 14-under-par 202. Rounding out the top 10 were two teams at 13-under-par 203: Bob Royak of Alpharetta and Robert Sheats of Atlanta (71-64-68), and Zane Goldthorp of Tucker and Robert Niedergall of Cartersville (70-62-71).
