Tennessee Sr. Four-Ball: Defending champs takes top seed
LENOIR CITY, Tenn. (April 25, 2014) -- Defending Champions Steve Golliher of Knoxville and Danny Green of Jackson held on to their Round One lead to claim the number one seed in the match play bracket of the 2014 Tennessee Senior Four-Ball Championship hosted by WindRiver Championship Golf Course in Lenior City, TN. After a Round One 6-under par 66, the duo backed it up with a 2-under par 70. They will face off with Tom Baird and Tim Burns Friday in the Quarter-Finals. Carving a similar path in the Super-Senior Championship, Round One leaders Mike Nixon and Mike Patton of Nashville followed up their Round One 4-under par 68 with a Round Two 3-under par 69. The number seed will play Ron Kilgore and Jim Brown Friday in the Semi-Finals.

ABOUT THE Tennessee Senior Four-Ball

Open to senior and super-senior teams who are members of the TGA. Format consists of 36 holes of stroke play followed by a cut to the low 8 seniors and low 4 super seniors for match play.
